--The USA Network will be airing three straight nights of WWE in December.? They will be airing Raw as usual, plus the 12/18 Smackdown show will not only air on Syfy on Friday but air live on USA on Tuesday from Pittsburgh.? Tribute to the Troops, a taped two-hour special, will air on Wednesday.? The network will heavily push it as WWE week.?

--At the WWE house show in Trenton, NJ, last night, they did another C.M. Punk vs. Ryback main event. Ryback won via DQ for a belt shot in a lumberjack match?which saw Ryback take out several lumberjacks and give Punk the shellshock after the match.? Real depth issues when the next biggest matches are Kane & Daniel Bryan over Primo & Epico and Antonio Cesaro over Sin Cara.?

--Brian Hoops noted that today is the 48th anniversary of Mad Dog Vachon beating Verne Gagne for the AWA world heavyweight title in Minneapolis at the Auditorium.? So that would be October 20, 1964.? Vachon traded the title with Crusher over the next two years before Gagne regained it on February 26, 1967, in St. Paul (thanks to Brian Hoops)???

--Extreme Rising is pushing their 11/17 show in Philadelphia as the 15th anniversary of the 1997 November to Remember PPV.? --The Chicago Tribune had a mention of Lisa Marie Varon (Tara) opening up a pizza place in Chicago.? She plans to open in January or February at 2418 N. Ashland, which used to be the home of Leon's Ribs.? She previously owned Fat Tony's Pizza in Louisville about five years ago when she was living there.?
