Stumbled across this humorous piece about finding, buying and playing a melodion by the Arts and Entertainment columnist for the Times Colonist. He plays keyboards with a rhythm and blues band in his spare time.
Still playing and becoming faster at reading music. Working on two specific tunes but interrupt that to try new ones for the music reading practice. I keep telling myself I should try what a retired professional musician suggested: play along with a recorded version of the song. I?ve downloaded 3 youtube vids so the only thing stopping me is me, as usual.
