Getting married in texas after a divorce? ? Pets Fish ? 3gnx.net

I was divorced on August 10 of this year (after being seperated for a very long time) I am getting re-married to someone else. We had planned on getting married on Sept. 4th. I know that in Texas there is a 30 day waiting period and this is obviously shy of that, however, we did not have a waiver in our divorce decree-but it was an agreed decree. My divorce attorney told me that he talked to the JP where we plan to get married (we already have our marriage license) The JP?s clerk said that as long as we already have a marriage license they will perform the ceremony, even though it is before the 30 days. I?m worried though, that when I go to file it with the county clerk they won?t accept. Has anyone had experience with this? Or know about these laws? Please serious answers form experience or education only.
AGAIN- ONLY answers from experience or education. Why I can?t wait 30 days is irrelevent! My fiance is joining the military.
