Reuniting? Michelle Williams and ex Spike Jonze spotted at concert

Michelle Williams was recently spotted with ex Spike Jonze, more than a year since their split.

Michelle Williams may be giving Spike Jonze a second chance at love.

More than a year since they first dated, the ?Blue Valentine? star, 30, was reportedly spotted accompanying the ?Where the Wild Things Are? director, 41, to one of LCD Soundsystem?s last concerts in New York earlier this month.

The rare public outing for the couple is said to be one of Jonze?s attempts to win back the blond beauty, whom he worked with on indie flick ?Synecdoche, New York? in the summer of 2007 and began dating the following year.

?Spike realizes he made a huge mistake leaving Michelle and he desperately wants her back,? said a Daily Mail source.

But winning over the actress won?t be an easy feat for Jonze, who was the first man Williams dated after the death of husband Heath Ledger, with whom she shares a 5-year-old daughter, Matilda. According to the British paper, Williams wants to take things slow.

?They are making a tentative go of their relationship again but Michelle is nervous,? added the source. ?Spike broke her heart the first time around.?

Williams briefly spoke about their under-the-radar romance in the October 2009 issue of Vogue, saying their timing was impossible.

?I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain,? Williams told the magazine of dealing with Ledger?s devastating death. ?This erroneous idea: It just makes things more complicated.?

But now that the two have spent some time apart, Jonze reportedly wants a second chance.

?He?s promised that he?s a changed man who is ready for commitment,? the source said, ?but Michelle has told him to prove himself before she can trust him again.?
