Free Soccer Clinics on Thursday March 15th

Challenger Sports is offering free soccer clinics at the Albemarle Soccer Complex on Thursday? March 15^th. There are only 12 spots available in each age category so call 704-984-9560 to register. Soccer balls will be available for use. 4 -6yrs are 4 to 4:45 pm, 7-9 yrs are 5 to 6 pm, 10-14 yrs are 6 to 7:15 pm.

Challenger First Kicks

This is a new and exciting program that teaches basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance, coordination, listening skills, cooperation and teamwork for children 2-6 years old. Professional, licensed British coaches will make sure your child has a positive First Kicks experience!!!!! Tuesday evenings March 20 thru April 24 at Albemarle Soccer Complex. Ages 2-3 (2 to 3pm) Ages 4-5 (3 to 4pm), Ages 5-6 (4 to 5pm). Cost is $75 and includes t-shirt and soccer ball. For more information and to sign up go online at www.challengersports.com

Challenger British Soccer Program

This Program provides weekly training, conditioning,and skill development for all soccer players. Age appropriate sessions by professional British coaching staff will certainly increase your player?s love for the game, as well as provide skill development and fun! Dates are 3/20 thru 4/24? Ages 7-9 (5-6:15pm) $75.00, Ages 10-14 (6:15-7:45pm) $80.00.

Dixie Girls Coach Pitch Baseball (Ages 6-8)

This intermediate softball? program consists of teams of young girls living in Albemarle, and is for girls? born during the years of 2003 to 2005.? Cost is $30 for city residents and $45 for non-residents who register from NOW until March 9. Those registering from March 12 to March 19 will be charged an additional an additional $5. A birth certificate is required at time of registration.

Dixie Girls Softball (Ages 9-18)

This intermediate softball program consists of teams of youngsters living inAlbemarle, and is for youngsters born in the years of 1993-2002. Cost is $50 for city residents and $75 for non residents. Register from NOW to February 24 at the AP&R office. Those registering from February 27 to March 5 will be charged an additional $5. A birth certificate is required at time of registration.?

Tee Ball (ages 4-6)

This instructional, non-competitive introduction to baseball and softball is a co-ed program in which participation, fundamentals, and fun come first! The program is for boys and girls born between May 1, 2005 and April 30, 2008. The cost is $20 for city residents and $30 and for non-residents who register from NOW until March 9. Those registering from March 12 to March 19 will be charged an additional $5. A birth certificate is required at time of registration.

This beginning baseball program consists of teams of boy living in Albemarle, and is for boys born between May 1, 2003 and April 30, 2006.? Cost is $30 for city residents and $45 for non-residents who register from NOW until March 9. Those registering from March 12 to March 19 will be charged an additional an additional $5. A birth certificate is required at time of registration.

Dixie Youth Baseball (Ages 9-12)

This intermediate baseball program consists of teams of youngsters living inAlbemarle, and is for youngsters bornbetween May 1, 1999 and April 30, 2003. Cost is $50 for city residents and$75 for non-residents . Register NOW to February 24 at the AP&R office. Those registering from February 27 to March 5 will be charged an additional $5. A birth certificate is required at time of registration.

Babe Ruth Boys Baseball (Ages 13-15)

This intermediate/advanced baseball program consists of teams throughout Stanly County, and is for youngsters who do not turn 16 before May 1, 2012. Cost is $50 for city residents and $75 for non-residents. Register at the Albemarle Parks and Recreation office February 1 through March 9. Those registering from March 12 to March 19 will be charged an additional $5. A birth certificate is required at time of registration
