How to Write a Money Making Article

An article consists of 4 parts: the title, the introduction, the body and a conclusion.

The Title

The first thing people will see when they start reading your article is the title. The "feel ?and taste" of the title determines whether the reader keeps reading or not. Therefore the title is the most important part of the article to grab the attention of readers.

The construction of the title depends on the content of the article. If you write an article about e.g. how to prune roses? the title of the article will be "How to prune roses and when" . This title gives people who have a question about pruning roses the idea they will receive an answer to their question and ?they will read it.

If your article is about the different methods to prune roses the title of the article will be "Top 5 ways of pruning roses in autumn".

The title not only catches the attention of the reader but also that of the search engines.

Therefore it is important to include some relevant keywords. The examples above are about pruning roses so do use the keywords prune, pruning and roses in the title. It will benefit you.

The Introduction

For many people getting started is the most difficult part of writing an article and this most certainly applies to the introduction. The reason for this is that the introduction should be short (maximum 100 words) and at the same time an invitation to keep reading. ?It should explain the title, give the reader the idea that by reading this article his questions will be answered and if possible the introduction should hold a promise.?

In the example I gave it could be something like:

"Many people think that pruning roses is difficult and only can be done by very skilled gardeners.

Happily they are wrong. In this article, I?ll teach you the 5 best ways to do the job so that in the next season your roses will flourish rich and abundantly".

Include some keyword in the introduction but never a link to your own business. Readers don?t like that. They will explain this as an attempt to sell things rather than to give information, because that is what the reader wants.

The Body
?

In the body of the article you offer the reader what you promised in the title, the information your reader is looking for.? In brief, concise and separate paragraphs you give the solutions to the problem of the reader. Each paragraph should be around 4 ? 5 lines. To increase the readability of the article use bullets. To emphasize words make them bold or italic.

Don?t offer sales in the body, not even in a slightly hidden way. That is not what the reader is looking for.? They just want answers to their questions. In our example e.g. when is the best time to prune roses, which tool to use, questions like these. In the body you deliver.

The conclusion

You may end the article with a short conclusion in which you recapitulate the content of it. This is however not necessary.

The Recourse Box

The resource box is the place to promote yourself and your business. It is the perfect place to start generating traffic to your website or weblog. A recourse box should in the first place have your name in it. Readers want to who the expert is. Besides your name you put a link to your website and/or weblog plus a short description about your business. And finally you ask the readers to act, e.g. to visit your website or to buy your products. Do this in one short sentence. Too many words only distract.

In this article I have tried to show you how to write a good, informative and interesting article, that generates traffic to your website/weblog ?and I hope this information is useful to you.
